From May 31 to June 9, 2011, the National Cordination of WCYAs organised a comics training session in Maradi, the economic capital of Niger. The theme of this training which was facilitated by a WCY member from Burkina Faso was: "the mobility and protection of children". It was attended by 30 WCY from 10 cities and was carried out in two phases. The theoretical phase aimed at helping the participants understand the steps that need to be followed to write a story for good advocacy, secondly, to do some drawing based on various themes. The practical phase was devoted to a comic book production and correction of mistakes made by participants while attempting to improve their drawing skills. Overall, 90 comics on several themes were produced: female circumcision, education, health, malnutrition, equitable justice and the right to learn how to read and write. Nowadays, participants can communicate through images.
