On the 17th of June the national delegate of the AWCY(Association of Working Children and Youth) was invited to the African republic radio in Bujumbura together with the general advisor of the ministry of labour and department of human rights and gender. Two UNICEF representatives were also invited to highlight more on human rights especially on child workers. The National delegate stressed that through the WCYA the living conditions have improved because the 12 child rights are being aired out through campaigns and many people are beginning to respect that.
